Amanda Neilson

I genuinely care about making your travel experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.

How and why did you get into the travel industry?

I initially found myself really enjoying helping colleagues book flights and accommodation, making sure they had the best possible options for their trips. That sparked my interest in pursuing travel as a career. I realised I wanted to do more than just book trips. I wanted to help people truly get the most out of their travel experiences.

Especially after Covid, when so many people were left without options or confidence in travelling, I felt strongly about being someone clients could rely on offering guidance, clarity, and reassurance during uncertain times.

Are there any changing travel trends that are worth mentioning?

Travellers are becoming far more value-conscious and flexible, but the trends vary depending on the type of travel.

For group and family travel, there’s a strong focus on planning earlier to secure availability, lock in better value, and ensure everyone’s needs are catered for. Flexibility with booking conditions is also a key priority.

In the corporate and luxury travel space, clients are looking for seamless, high-quality experiences with transparent pricing. There’s increased attention on fare inclusions, baggage policies, and added-value services, as well as a growing demand for efficiency, comfort, and personalised support.

Across the board, people want clarity, value, and confidence in who they’re booking with.

What do you love most about helping people travel?

I love being able to keep trips within budget while still finding the best possible options. There’s real satisfaction in knowing I’ve secured a great fare or ideal itinerary that makes someone’s travel smoother and more enjoyable.

How do you want people to feel when they work with you?

I want clients to feel completely at ease and confident that everything is taken care of. And if something doesn’t go to plan, they know they have someone in their corner. I’m not just a voice in a call centre; I’m a real person who genuinely cares about making their travel experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
